Manage the Famileo profile of your residents - Title

The 'Residents' section

To take full advantage of Famileo’s services, please ensure that your list of residents is up to date. This makes it possible to attribute a family code to each resident’s family, which they will use to register.

The ‘Residents’ section allows you to;
  • Add new residents
  • Deactivate residents
  • Manage the profiles of your residents
  • Create resident groups – find out more
You can find all these features on the FamileoPro app.

The Famileo team imported your list of residents when you subscribed. If a resident was already receiving a Famileo gazette by post before your subscription, please let their family know that they can transfer their subscription over, by calling Famileo customer support.

STEP 2
Invite the resident’s family members to register

Once your residents have been added to Famileo, your goal is to share the family code to their families so that they can register and start publishing their photos.

Here's how to find the family code and pass it on :

Send an invitation by email

Click on the resident's profile and then on ‘Send an invitation’. Next, you need to enter the email adresses of the family members and click on 'Add'. Finally click on 'Send'.

You'll be able to see the history of invitations previously sent by you or another member of the team. Essential if you want to invite one or more families.

Hand out Famileo flyers

Write the family code on the back of a flyer we sent you in your Welcome Pack and give it to families during new admissions.
When launching Famileo, you can also add the flyer with the resident's family code to the billing letter for example.

What about deactivating residents?

If a resident moves or passes away, make sure you deactivate their account. This way, no more gazettes will be sent and families won't get any more notifications.

To do so :
- Go to the resident's profile and click on the white button 'Deactivate'
- Then, you need to select a reason for deactivating the account. You can add a comment if necessary
- Finally, click on 'Deactivate'.

All deactivate residents will be automatically removed from the groups they belong to.

The resident's family account will stay active so that family members can still message one another. However, gazettes will no longer be generated and families will stop receiving notifications and reminders about birthdays, new messages and so on.
